New GraphQL & webhooks operations, OIDC authentication features, Administration Module enhancements, performance improvements
WorkflowGen 7.17.0 includes many new features, enhancements and version updates across the board, along with directory synchronization and database performance improvements.
GraphQL and webhooks now include mutations, queries and operations to create, update and delete process participants, global participants and global lists.
The webhooks API now supports new endpoints based on the OpenAPI v2 specification for operation definition and execution. This allows for seamless integrations with other OpenAPI-ready solutions such as Swagger, Microsoft Flow, Azure Logic Apps and Postman. Information on how to use the OpenAPI v2 endpoints is available in the WorkflowGen Integration Guide.

WorkflowGen OIDC-compliant authentication now supports current user access tokens for use in GraphQL or third-party APIs, scopes as references to multiple audiences in access tokens, and application roles for client credentials flow in Microsoft Identity Platform v2.0 authentication.
In the Administration Module, the process and action help text limit can now be customized via a new parameter in the web configuration file, and process participant permissions are now editable when the process is in Active or Archived states. As well, the directory synchronization service’s initial execution wait time after being started has been improved, and a new unique database table index has been added to enforce participant association data integrity.
WorkflowGen.My and WorkflowGen.My.Web.UI.WebControls have both been updated to version 4.6.0. A new public method has been added to the WorkflowPage class to retrieve current user access tokens for use with OIDC authentication, along with a new optional parameter to skip the default page databind call.
