New EXECSQL workflow application, PDF file attachment preview, enhancements & performance improvements, Node.js version updates
WorkflowGen version 7.22.0 introduces the new EXECSQL workflow application, which allows you to execute one or multiple SQL queries in a process. For example, you can use EXECSQL to retrieve information via SELECT queries in order to use the results in process conditions; INSERT, UPDATE, DELETE, SCALAR and PROCEDURE queries are also supported. Usage instructions, lists of required and optional parameters, and examples of queries are available in the EXECSQL Workflow Application section of the WorkflowGen Administration Guide.
Enhancements & performance improvements
As of version 7.22.0, the Form Designer attachment tool supports PDF file preview in Advanced Mode. As well, the completeFormAction function used by the different APIs (GraphQL, webhooks and SOAP) now supports and generates file attachment download links in the form archive for associated input file context parameters. In the Directory Synchronization module, system memory usage and error management for Active Directory and LDAP synchronizations have been improved for better performance.
Node.js version updates
The Node.js-based modules now require Node.js version 14.15.1 LTS. GraphQL has been updated to version 4.2.0, webhooks to version 5.5.0, Auth to version 2.4.0 and SCIM to version 2.1.0.
